WHAT IS IT and WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
The course is based on my best selling, highest rated Udemy Zbrush course “Sculting In Zbrush“, but with much more personal guidance, for all of those that want to learn Zbrush in a more guided, mentored environment!
We have live lectures, assignments and assignment reviews, 1on1 talks, QnA’s– everything you need to get over the hump of trying to learn something new and getting into the exciting realm of digital sculpting!
I want to help you learn all you need to start sculpting with confidence! During our live sessions I will see the screens of every student and will give live guidance and help so you can master everything we are discussing with ease!
HOW LONG AND WHEN?
It lasts for 6 weeks, 2 times per week, 2h per session! with a Discord channel for communication, QnA and feedback during the week!
Sessions are on Wednesday & Saturday 7PM CET/10 AM PDT/1 PM EDT/10:30 PM IST (but open to change in talks with students if needed)
Saturday’s is when we have our main session, Wednesday is QnA day, review day, more relaxed and more flexible in terms of time when we start. Sometimes I will also record answers to some questions after our sessions and upload for you to watch!
Lectures will be recorded and you will have access to them forever (i mean, nothing is forever, let’s just say for a looong time! 🙂 )

Beginner to Intermediate! Those who are starting their digital sculpting journey or have basic knowledge but want a stronger foundation so they can progress with greater speed and confidence!
Week 1
Hit The Ground Running!
Session 1: We learn about sculpting and good sculpting practices! We will go over Zbrush UI, what is what and where is what! We will focus only on parts that we will use the most, but you will get an overview of everything! Those that already know this will get a sculpting assignment to show of their skills and help me asses their level of sculpting!
Session 2: I will talk about the best workflow for this weeks assignment and then it’s sculpting time, with me by your side to help and guide you!
Week 2
Power Of Brushes
Session 1: Review of last weeks assignment from each student! Alphas and Masking! It’s time to understand our brushes a little deeper and really unleash their power!
Session 2: I will talk about the best workflow for this weeks assignment and then it’s sculpting time, with me by your side to help and guide you!
Week 3
Digital Clay & Dynamesh
Session 1: Review of last weeks assignment from each student! Learn the ability to just sculpt and sculpt, not worrying about polygons at all! And that is truly- digital clay! We will dive into Sculptris Pro & Dynamesh!
Session 2: I will talk about the best workflow for this weeks assignment and then it’s sculpting time, with me by your side to help and guide you!
Week 4
Developing A Toolset
Session 1: Review of last weeks assignment from each student! Learn the various tools Zbrush has to offer. We will utilize Zspheres, a powerful, intuitive, unique and fun way to start your sculpts! Drawing from the traditional concept of armature. Shortly after, we will utilize Mannequins and Shadowbox to pleasantly speed up our workflow.
Session 2: I will talk about the best workflow for this weeks assignment and then it’s sculpting time, with me by your side to help and guide you!
Week 5
Texturing With Polypaint
Session 1: Review of last weeks assignment from each student! Philosophy behind good poly paint. Time to paint add some color to our sculpts! We will see my custom poly painting UI, learn the principles of UVMaster, so we can seamlessly export models into any rendering software.
Session 2: I will talk about the best workflow for this weeks assignment and then it’s polypainting time, with me by your side to help and guide you!
Week 6
Rendering & Post Processing
Session 1: Review of last weeks assignment from each student! Time to render our sculpt! What are good render practices what are the don’t do’s! Our main render will be from Zbrush but as an added bonus I will showcase Keyshot (my favorite render software for Zbrush sculpts) and/or Substance Painter depending on the time limits! This is a short bonus section so no need to own these software’s to follow along!
Session 2: I will talk about the best workflow for this weeks assignment and then it’s rendering time, with me by your side to help and guide you!
